<簡介>

    陽光季節(Seasons in the sun)這首歌原本是由比利時詩人暨作曲家賈克斯布瑞爾(Jacques Brel)於1961年以法文創作的「臨終的人」(Le Moribond /The Dying Man)。賈克斯布瑞爾揣摩正值盛年卻因病垂死之人的心情，寫下這首獻給父親、摯友和妻子的歌，巧合的是1974年他亦被證實罹患了肺癌。這首歌是賈克斯布瑞爾和其好友美國詩人、作曲家兼歌手洛麥昆(Rod McKuen)所合作，洛麥昆將之翻譯成英文，並由金斯頓三重唱(Kingston Trio)的Bob Shane 錄音發行，但沒紅起來。當時十分走紅的海灘少年合唱團(Beach Boys)也將此曲灌錄成單曲，但錄好後卻因某些原因而決定不發行。後來，參與錄音伴奏的泰瑞傑克斯(Terry Jacks)為了追悼一位意外死亡的友人，便自己重新錄了這首歌，並徵得原作詞者的同意，修改了部份歌詞及角色，才成就了現在我們所熟知的版本。

心得:
    這首歌我在很小的時候就聽過了，那時不懂得英文，只覺得這首歌應該是首很快樂的歌，至少在它輕快的旋律給人如此的感覺。直到現在，我才了解，原來他是含帶著一種青春的眷戀或垂死的救贖，不曉得為什麼，反而有種更感動的感覺。人的一生，伴隨自己的，不外乎就是朋友、家人與愛人，你有想對他們說些什麼嗎?
    背這首歌其實一點也不難，千萬別被他冗長的歌詞給嚇到了，以朋友、家人與愛人為主題做聯想，很快就背熟了，再者，這首的旋律與曲調相當簡單，所以跟著哼，很快就上手了，不過要特別注意-(s)結尾的音節。加油吧!
